I started this project by going through a discovery process that identified friction points. After that, I went on to revamp the main user landing experience, optimize the invoicing flow for efficiency, and completely revamp the first time user experience.

First Time Experience

An earlier version of the app forced people to go through an extensive setup process just to get going and send one invoice. This concept below provided people with the option to quickly issue an invoice without all the setup. We would capture the critical setup information during the first invoice.

A Better Item View

The screen on the left forced people to toggle between parts / labor / expense and provided little insight on the many duplicates on the list. The one on right provide more context.
